To protect our infrastructure during the spring thaw, half load restrictions will be in effect on all Township of East Garafraxa roads beginning March 1st, 2025.

Due to the inclement weather and closure of Dufferin County Road 3 the Township Administration Office will be closed for the remainder of the day.

Due to the anticipated winter storm, the Thunderbird Drainage meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2025, hosted by Headway Engineering, has been postponed. Further notice will be provided once the meeting is rescheduled.

Due to the anticipated winter storm this evening and into tomorrow, the Township will delay the opening of the Township Administration Office until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Please visit the Township website for updates as they become available.

Take Notice that the Council for the Corporation of the Township of East Garafraxa will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. to consider housekeeping amendments to the Township’s Comprehensive Zoning By-Law 60-2004, as amended, pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended.

Please note that our office will be closed for the holidays as of noon on Tuesday, December 24th, 2024 and will re-open on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 during regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
