Final Tax Installments Due Dates
Please be advised that the 2026 Final Tax Bills will be processed the week of August 4, 2026 - August 7, 2026, and will be mailed as soon as possible thereafter.
First Installment: September 10, 2026
Second Installment: December 10, 2026
Residents are encouraged to allow adequate time for delivery through Canada Post. If you have not received your tax bill by August 21, 2026, please contact the Municipal Office.
Please visit Taxes | Township of East Garafraxa for payment options. Effective August 1, 2026, any tax payments made by cash must be paid using the exact amount. Any cash overpayment will be applied as a credit to the next tax installment.

Notice of Passing of a Zoning By-Law Amendment

The Committee of Adjustment for the Corporation of the Township of East Garafraxa will be considering the following proposed minor variance to Zoning By-Law 60-2004, as amended, pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, C. P.13

Public Hearing: Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 3:00p.m.
Purpose: The purpose of the Minor Variance Application is to request relief from the minimum parking requirement of the Township’s Zoning By-law to facilitate the expansion of the self-storage use for a total of 21 self-storage units at the rear of the property. The Zoning By-law 60-2004, section 3.15.9 requires 273 parking spaces, whereas 92 parking spaces are proposed.
