Credit Valley Conservation advises that 2-5 mm of precipitation has fallen throughout the watershed since Thursday with an additional 80-100 mm of precipitation expect over the next five days in the form of rain or freezing rain.

Current weather forecasts indicate a widespread system that has the potential to impact the watershed with heavy rainfall through this weekend and into Tuesday next week. Watershed Conditions Statement – Water Safety
A low pressure system is set to traverse the province Tuesday into Wednesday bringing heavy rain to the Grand River Watershed. Cumulative rainfall totals of 20 to 30 mm are possible Tuesday night into Wednesday due to this system, resulting in elevated flows in rivers and streams across the watershed.
