Water conservation recommended throughout Grand River watershed
Due to persistent dry conditions, the Grand River Low Water Response Team   is recommending water conservation throughout the Grand River watershed.
The call for conservation comes from the group, made up of representatives of major water users including municipalities, farmers, golf course operators, water bottlers, aggregate businesses, Six Nations and others.

Watershed Conditions Statement – Water Safety
The Grand River watershed continues to recover following recent rainfall and snow melt events over the past few weeks.

Gauging stations in and around our watershed showed over 90mm of precipitation in the form of rain, sleet, and snow fell during the winter storm that occurred Thursday April 12 th to Monday April 16th.
