A minor variance application (A4-26) has been submitted concurrently to permit a reduced lot frontage of 59 metres for the proposed severed lot, whereas Section 4.3.2(ii) requires a minimum lot frontage of 60 metres for lands zoned as Rural Residential (RR). Decision on this minor variance application is anticipated at a later date and will be required as a condition of approval of consent application B7-26.

Purpose:

To sever an approximately 2.02 ha parcel from the existing 4.05 ha property. The proposed retained parcel will be approximately 2.02 ha.

Written comments will be accepted for consideration by Council prior to Council making a decision on the applications. You may forward your written comments to the Clerk at the address shown above.

Written comments may be sent to the Clerk by mail, email at the email address provided above, or in-person at the Township Administration Office. Please include your full name, address, application number and/or address of the property you are providing comments on, and any relevant information in your submission. Written comments must be received by noon on Monday, July 20, 2026, in order to be included in the Public Meeting.

Consent

If a person or public body has the ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Township of East Garafraxa in respect of the proposed consent to the Ontario Land Tribunal but does not make written submissions to Council of the Township of East Garafraxa before it gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.
