Waste Services

The County of Dufferin provides waste management services to the residents of the Township of East Garafraxa.

If your Green Bin or small kitchen container is broken, bring it in! We will have it recycled and give you a new one. If you are a new resident, the Township will provide you with a Green Bin and a small kitchen container for your organics.

Garbage tags are also available for residents at the Township Office.

Recycling Services

Effective July 1, 2023, the Blue Box program transitioned to be overseen by Circular Materials. 

Starting in April 2026, recycling in Dufferin County will be even more convenient with a new recycling cart.  Carts will be delivered in March and can be used as of April 1, 2026.
